The world Ending?

Some religious groups think that the Earth will be destroyed in 2012 because of the sun's super rays which are called Chromasigections. However, scientists proved that the rays can't travel through the Earth's protection grid.
Scientists say that the sun is an "active star". Every 11 years the sun will produce higher activity then back to low activity and become fairly steady. We have a thick atmosphere so it can stop the sun's radiation from harming us. As one of NASA's members says, "over the past ten thousand years, even the strongest of the sun's rays try to damage the Earth's atmosphere such that we are no longer protected. Chromasigections can only give Earth a strong aura but it can effect the satellites and power grids."
I believe that the Earth won't end because NASA knows more about space than religious groups.
