3D printers have just recently been around our world. It can automatically print out a design that’s 3D. However, it depends on the size of how of a quality it will print. In my opinion, I think that this design and material is a great resource for design and technology, because if needed to print a cover for a thumb drive for example, it will be best to print it out using this other than hand made.

Google earth can be very useful to locate unknown locations and be able to track down the last moments of your memories. As an Indian man who was separated from his family for 25 years, was able to locate the waterfall since it’s his memories of a child. When he got back home, his mom was really surprised. However, the older brother he was trying to find was found at the railway just after he was separated and missing. I think that it will be really cool and creepy at the same time if we had chips and can locate us anywhere. The good thing is that we could fine lost children or somewhat like that, but if it gets into the wrong hands, it could be big time.

Robots have been in technology for many centuries, it just keeps on getting better and better. However, now in my opinion, people are creating useless stuff trying to overcome the records. The newest record broke was in the water. A techno swimmer “swum” 5,926 kilometers. The first leg of their voyage was from San Francisco to Hawaii. On the other hand, it is really helpful because it can go to an unreachable area and test the solution of the water if it’s acidic or basic. This is a great way to see the difference between different oceans and can analyze different solutions of water.

A few days ago, posters have been held up saying about KONY. At first, I had no idea. However, a lot of people told me that KONY is an organization who kidnaps children to be his soldier, and girls to be sex slaves. It’s a disastrous thing to do and shouldn’t be done. Who would want their children stolen, so this year, there have been 30 million views on KONY’s crime. There was the most views on twitter and facebook. I think that the crimes that he did shouldn’t be forgiven and I hope that no-one else would be like him.

Cheetahs have been known to run the fastest in the world; they can run thirty miles per hour. However, scientists have now created an awesome new model that can surpass the speed of the cheetah. One of the scientist said, “We really want to understand what is possible for fast-moving robots.”

In my opinion, I think that creating a fast moving cheetah-ish robot is a pretty cool idea. They can create a bigger version of it and we can ride on it. I am really looking forward for future generation of technology.

Japanese researchers used thousands of strands of silk from spiders to spin a set of violin strings. As Dr. Osaki researchers said, “Bowed string instruments such as the violin have been the subjects of many scientific studies, however, not all of the details have been clarified, as most players have been interested in the violin body rather than the properties of the bow or strings.”

In my opinion, I think that every part of any instrument is really important for that specific instrument, such as the violin, if you don’t have the body, how are you going to hold the whole thing together? If you don’t have the strings, how can you even strum the violin? Last of all, If you don’t have the bow, how can you make that really smooth sound with the strings? Everything is equally as important, just like the normal environment and our surroundings, if there is no cleaners, imagine how dirty the world is gonna be!

Hackers have been known to kill the computers and getting into others accounts. However, no-one suspected that hackers can get into NASA’s computers. The attacks were by Chinese people because the IP was about in China.

I don’t know why do people hack, however, I believe that it isn’t right and shouldn’t be even told. Does people want to hack for fun, or just pay back? I don’t want to live in a world you have to be cautious of because  you are afraid of someone going into your account and stealing money.
