We have never broken the light's speed before. However, scientists have proven to us and the whole world that now the records been broken. Also they told us the name of the atom they found out that can travel faster than the speed of light - Neutrino!
The way they made this happen was that they had neutrino's lined up in a line of 732km. then they shot an atom throughout the tunnel and let it bump another atom. This made it so strong that it bumps the neutrino's together and then they start to time the speed.
After another 100 tries of this experiment they found out the speed was 0.0024 seconds taken by neutrinos and it was faster than expected by 0.00000006 seconds! This amazing discovery is leading us to a different future.
I am so happy and nervous at the same time, this is because we can now produce enough force to power up a time machine or a tele porter, however it can also lead to more dangerous weapons and can be used in bombs to make the biggest force to destroy the whole world. My fingers are cross to say that this wouldn't happen.
