'The Lost Hero' by Rick Riordan is a great book. From the very first line, I was engrossed because it posed absorbing questions.
This book is about Jason, Piper and Leo having an incredible adventure to save a Greek goddess called Hera. This story is set in modern times but uses historical events to educate the readers about ancient Greece in an entertaining way. The book takes gods and goddesses we have heard about and changes them into modern characters.
This story uses a third person omniscient point of view. This really helps with building up the story because when one of the characters gets lost we can still know about them talking to themselves and thinking.

This book is entertaining and educational; I would recommend children who are around 11-15 years old to read the book.
